Colin added his thoughts when asked about leading the Blues in 2023, "I'm delighted to be joining the Annapolis Blues as the Head Coach for their inaugural season. It is an exciting time for soccer in our community and this is a club looking to make a real impact, on and off the field. I’ve had great discussions with the owner and general manager and I know their progressive vision aligns with mine. It’s now our responsibility to give the fans a team of real quality and a group of players that they can be proud of. I’m now focused on assembling a winning team that entertains everyone connected to our club. I am really looking forward to the challenge ahead”

Colin’s knowledge and passion for the game started as a successful player in Scotland where he played for Heart of Midlothian Academy, second division clubs East Fife FC, and Cowdenbeath FC while also playing for Scotland’s Boys Club National Team at the U16 level.
